My little sister Zoie is 11 and in 5th grade, shes heavy set because of thyroids, and has a huge gap in between her two front teeth, but she is so beautiful, because of the person she is, I find her to be the cutest sister ever, she could never hurt a fly and shed do anything to make you smile. Today her friends ignored her and laughed at her, and she cried her eyes out to me in my room because of how sad she was, and how much she hated herself because, she doesnt believe herself to be a cool pretty girl. She felt like she had no one. It broke my heart, i knew exactly how she feels, i got picked on for fucked up teeth, and out casted because i was the weird teachers daughter. I gave her the best advice i could. That all she needed to worry about was making herself happy day to day, and to know she has family because girls are fucked up and dont care about your feelings. I told her to hang out with the nice girls even if there not the ‘cooler’ ones, cause really those are the ones that’ll stand up with you. I hated saying that it only gets harder though, and how guys are going to hurt you and girls are going to make you feel horrible. That theres so much more pain to go through but shell get over it cause shell find out all that matters is her happiness. Well this is her thank you card to me. I have never felt so great, and to know she knows that I’m here for her even when i cant stand her some days.
